As has been ranted about -er- discussed here, the parallels between the establishment scientific fad of eugenics and that of anthropogenic global warming are strong and useful.
Imagine if the political supporters of the “scientific consensus” in favor of eugenics in the United States had, in the face of the revelation of the atrocities of the Ahnenerbe, the Lebensborn, and of course the “experiments” of Dr. Mengele, only then appointed a cabinet-level “Eugenics Czar”.
The reader may recall the ordeal of little Adolf Hitler Campbell, who couldn’t get a birthday cake with his name on it. The absurd has now become the horrifying: the state has taken the child and his sisters from their parents.

How many people died in the attacks of September 11, 2001? Three thousand some-odd.
How many died that same month on the highways of the United States? Three thousand some-odd (and about the same every month before and since for several decades). By any adult, rational standard, therefore, highway deaths were a dozen times the threat to life and limb that Islamic Terror was in 2001.
It is, therefore, not love and respect for life, liberty, or any other legitimate value that makes the one so outweigh the other in terms of government action and transformation of people’s attitudes.
